Children and The Times

…….

Now it has been a few days since I last wrote. On Sunday we didn’t do very much except just enjoying each other’s company and the day was ended with some training.

Monday morning Emelie left for Sweden and we all joined to the airport. She was just going to repack at home before leaving again to go to Berlin, Germany, with her school. They are going to be there from Tuesday to Friday and we think it’s good, she has been able to send one message as they don’t have any wi-fi at the hotel.

Tuesday morning Peter took Felicia to the airport for a few days visit in Rödeby, she wanted to surprise her friends with a visit. She has this week of as well and she really wanted to see her friends. I asked Peter to drop her off as I was having a lesson at 10 and thought it might be short of time. It was good we had decided to do that as an hour after they had left Peter called and didn’t think they would make it as they were just halfway there. Normally it takes about 30-40 minutes with the car to the airport. But they made it and Felicia was on her way to Sweden.

How she is doing can be summarized like this: “Good!” and “They were all surprised”. Not were informative from our youngest daughter and she cannot blame the wi-fi.

Yesterday Peter and I were invited to The Times and The Sunday Times for a panel discussion with some of the editors at the newspaper as well as some drinks and snacks. It was very nice and interesting. They were witty and could tell us in a good way their thoughts about the newspaper, the future versus how it has been and also answer the questions from the audience. I think we were about 50 people who had come to listen.
