Amerikanarna hade Coffee Morning på måndagen och jag skulle dit, svärföräldrarna åkte med Peter in till London (han skulle till ambassaden) för att se lite av det som London har att erbjuda.
Jag anslöt sen till lunch och vi träffades vid Westminster. De hade då bl.a. sett Buckingham Palace och konstaterat att köerna till både Madame Tussauds och London Eye var långa. De tyckte att det var mycket folk i London men måndagar och tisdagar är bästa dagarna för då är det minst med människor i stan. Vi gick till Covent Garden för att äta lunch och lyssna på lite musik, vi fick lyssna på flera bra låtar och fick även lite spex till maten.
Vi bestämde att vi skulle gå vidare upp mot Leicester Square för att se om vi hittade något ställe i solen att dricka kaffe. Vi såg flera caféer med uteservering men alla var i skuggsidan, till slut gick vi in och satte oss på Costa. Vi hade bestämt med Peter och Felicia att vi skulle träffas vid Wembley Park och gå till London Designers Outlet för att äta middag. Vi ville inte bli allt för sena hem då det kanske skulle bryta ut strejk i Londons tunnelbana och den skulle börja kl. 21.

The Americans had coffee morning on Monday and I was going there. My parents-in-law went with Peter to Baker Street to see some of what London has to offer.
I joined them at lunch and we met at Westminster. They had then seen the Buckingham Palace and established that the queues for London Eye and Madam Tussauds were long. They thought it was a lot of people in London but Monday and Tuesdays are the best days because of fewer people in city. We went to Covent Garden to have lunch and listen to a little music, we listened to several nice songs as well as some show going with the food.
We decided to walk towards Leicester Square to see if we could have a coffee in the sun. We saw several cafés but they were all on the shady side, we ended up going to Costa and sitting inside. We were going to meet Peter and Felicia at Wembley Park and go to London Designers Outlet for dinner. We didn’t want to get home late as there were maybe a strike hitting the tube and it was going to start at 9 pm.
