Saracens vs Harlequins

English

Yesterday we watched rugby and two London teams played against each other at Wembley Stadium. This arena we have passed several times and it looks big from the outside and it was really cool to be sitting inside it.

All seats wasn’t taken but we were over 84.000 in the crowd and everyone are mixed, this means you can sit next to someone cheering for the other team. The atmosphere was good and not once did we see anyone behaving badly among the crowd (at least were we sat).

The downside with seeing a game live is that you don’t get the comments, it would have been great if the referee had had a microphone so he could have told us what and why something happen. You don’t get the commentators talk and it was quiet and you had to figure it out yourself. Which isn’t the easiest when you are watching a game with a lot of strange rules!

Before the game started and even in the halftime there were entertaining by an artist by the name Pixie Lott, 1.500 children from Saracens Cheer School and Saracens Rock Choir. Pixie Lott I could have done without as I didn’t like her music but the choir and the kids were good.

We didn’t know how long it would take to get out from Wembley once it was over but I must say that even if 84.000 people left at the same time it was never crowdy, now we chose not to go straight to the tube but to the London Designer’s Outlet we didn’t have any queueing to get on the tube.
