En härlig dag på Grand Union Canal tillsammans med ett gäng kvinnor från basen. Hester från Nederländerna hade bokat en privat tur för oss och vi hade med oss fika.
Männen som körde kanalbåten var roliga och berättade om områdena vi åkte förbi samt tyckte att vi skulle hjälpa till med att öppna och stänga slussarna.
Vi hade några härliga timmar fram och tillbaka och det hela avslutades med sen lunch på den lokala puben i närheten.

A lovely day on Grand Union Canal together with some ladies from the base. Hester, a Dutch lady, booked us on a private tour and we brought some coffee and cake with us.
The men in charge of the canal boat were funny and told us about the areas we passed, they also thought we should help open and close the locks.
We had a few wonderful hours going to and from Batchworth and we ended it with a late lunch at the local pub.
