After a nice breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon and avocado we took the car and headed towards Clearwater. The northern part of Clearwater is always crazy with people/tourists and we drove further south were there is more residential homes.
Heading to the beach was the plan for a lot of people. The beach was crowded and we took a walk along the water before finding somewhere to eat. Normally it takes 45 minutes to Clearwater from our house but today it took 1,5 hour.

We had lunch and then continued to the St Pete part and Lake Seminole. We had been told that it was a safe place to go if you wanted to see alligators – well we didn’t see any.
We then continued to Fort DeSoto where we looked at the old remains of the fort as well as went down to the beach. Driving home we crossed the Skyway bridge and then drove north.

We arrived home at shortly before 9 o’clock after some dinner as well. A long day but very nice.
